Smoked Salmon and Poached Egg Starter

To be honest this one I completely sucked out of the internets atmosphere of ideas. I wanted to try and be creative and make something fancy as a starter last night so I googled up a few ideas and eventually came across something like this. Mine is not so fancy but it actually tasted quite yummy and it's really easy to make!


























I'm sure you can either enjoy this as a starter or a type of breakfast.

Ingredients:
- egg
- sliced avo
- smoked sliced salmon
- carrots (thinly sliced)
- balsamic vinegar

Instructions:
1. The first thing you have to do is make the poached egg. For me there is only one way to make poached eggs and that is in those plastic moulds that you can use to cook the egg in the microwave with. Then you remove the yellow part carefully.
2. Replace the yellow of the egg with the rolled up smoked salmon.
3. Add the sliced avo like the picture above and sprinkle a few drops of balsamic vinegar over your dish. I also served mine with a mild wasabi mayo together with salt and pepper.
