Basil Pasta Tuna Salad

I found this recipe at Eat-Yourself-Skinny the other day and thought that this would make an awesome supper. We have been having such terrible heat here in Cape Town which has really made eating warm cooked meals, uncomfortable. Luckily for this recipe, we had an awesome supper! You guys should really take the time to go and read her blog! There are awesome recipes.

DONT FORGET to add 1tbs Apple Cider Vinegar!

How to make it:

First add your pasta with a pinch of salt in a pot and bring to boil. Cook until the pasta is soft and ready. This takes about 15 minutes max. While the pasta is cooking, spare yourself some time and mix the rest of the ingredients in a bowl. Once the pasta is ready, leave it to cool down for a bit and add into the bowl with the rest of your ingredients. After that put it in the fridge to cool down completely. Serve with a little bit of salt, lemon juice and olive oil to taste.

*Side note, I replaced the fresh basil for basil paste only because the store didn't have any.  I'm also a lazy cook, so I might have taken a few short cuts with this one. Never the less, it came out YUMMY!
