City Sight Seeing Bus - Cape Town, South Africa

Saturday we went on a family outing... grandparents were visiting Cape Town for a week so we decided to do something special before they left.
In all the years of living in Cape Town, I never really made use of all the "Touristy" things...  (will definitely make a point of making use of them)... You actually see a lot more than what you would on your own...

There we went... 6 of us on the CitySightSeeing Bus of Cape Town!

The first bus departs at 9am. The next time I do a City Tour, I will definitely hop on early. There is so much  to see and so many places you can hop off, walk around and then hop onto the next city bus that comes by. The bus tour starts and ends at the V&A Waterfront. It takes you all around the Cape Peninsula.
This is probably one of the fastest and only ways you can "see" 80% of Cape Town in just one day. The tour includes; a visit at Kirstenbosch Gardens, World of Birds, a Hout Bay Township Tour, Wine Tasting and LOADS more!

There are two types of tours, the Blue and Red City Bus Tours. Each one takes a different route and has different attractions to see. Just remember, that majority of the places where you would hop off,  do have entrance fees, so be sure to save up and prepare your wallet! Don't worry though, in the end of the day you'll be sure to know it was all well worth it!
